Our journey began long ago, tracing back to the 1800s when our family’s roots were firmly planted in this sacred land. Our grandmother and great-grandmother homesteaded just a few miles away, cultivating a deep connection to the rich heritage that still resonates with us today. Inspired by their legacy, our mother acquired this land, drawn to the profound ties to our family’s past.
We embraced the opportunity to transform the house into what you now know as “The Serenity House.” This serene retreat center has been lovingly restored to welcome and nurture the spirit of all who visit.
Sharing this sanctuary with others fills our hearts with immense joy. We are profoundly honored to extend the warmth and tranquility of our home to those seeking refuge and rejuvenation. About the House
Welcome to The Serenity House, a spacious and handicap-accessible retreat thoughtfully designed for family outings and gatherings. Our home accommodates over 10 guests and features three cozy bedrooms, two full bathrooms, two expansive living rooms, and two dining rooms, making it the perfect setting for memorable get-togethers.
Our fully equipped kitchen, exercise room, and convenient laundry room enhance your stay. A beautiful outdoor deck invites you to relax among the pine, juniper, and aspen trees. The gentle sounds of a nearby creek and the peaceful reflection of our tranquil pond further enrich the serene surroundings.
Our expansive backyard is fully fenced, creating a haven for children to run and play freely. Depending on the season, you might even spot a deer or moose wandering by, and our resident llama will happily invite you to stop by and share a treat!
With ample parking available for RVs, snowmobiles, boats, and ATVs, you’ll have plenty of space for all your gear. As you settle in, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped back in time, surrounded by charming antiques and relics that fill our home, each with its own story. Many of these pieces are available for purchase, adding to the unique character of our property. Experience the perfect blend of simplicity and modern amenities, including free fast Starlink Wi-Fi, in one welcoming place.
